Hospitals are purchasing drugs at a discounted rate through the federal 340B program, yet patients are not seeing any of these discounts passed onto them. While Congress has mandated that manufacturers sell these medications discounted, there is no accountability to ensure that hosptials are actually giving their patients the much needed financial relief.
