Election time is upon us. We all may be tired of the non-stop TV ads, the many phone calls seeking our support and the negativity of many issue debates. A functioning democracy is, indeed, hard work for “we the people.” We are required to measure candidates words and behaviors against our own core values and the vision of our founders for a country that works to achieve both liberty and justice for ALL. A tall order!
MICHUHCAN, a voice for health care justice since 1990, urges every Michigander to take up the challenge by engaging in the process and, most importantly, to VOTE this November. The future is in our hands. Working together, we can make it a healthy one for Michigan.
