Tomorrow marks World AIDS Day and almost one-third of all people living with HIV are in Detroit. There is a renewed effort to focus efforts in Detroit and the metro area. The national government has also set a strong plan for creating an AIDS free generation.
Among other news were announcements from Governor Snyder about creating a healthy state and the failure of the Michigan legislature to agree to a health care exchange for the state. Michigan will be constructing a joint health care exchange with the federal government.
