U.S Representatives Debbie Dingell (MI-06) and Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reintroduced Medicare for All as the Medicare for All Act of 2025 in April of 2025. This act builds upon and expands Medicare coverage to provide comprehensive benefits to everyone in the U.S. This would include primary care, vision, dental, prescriptions, mental health, substance abuse, long-term services and supports, reproductive helath care, and more. The new 2025 act also includes the introduction of universal coverage for long-term care with no cost-sharing for older Americans and disabled individuals.
This legislation would also give patients the freedom to select their providers, and streamline the health care system to negotiate drug prices and reduce administrative waste. It would provide vital health care to millions of Americans, including those who are uninsured or underinsured. Click HERE to read more about the Medicare for All Act of 2025.
