I watched yesterday’s vote in the Senate to move forward with debates on the repeal and replace of the ACA with frustration, anger and sadness. How could so many caring, intelligent people vote to discuss legislation that could throw so many millions of our citizens off Medicaid, raise premiums/deductibles, undermine the ACA protections for coverage of pre-existing conditions as well as women’s health benefits with no outrage? Their feeble efforts to convince us, the public, that none of these things will really happen were embarrassing to watch…
