MICHUHCAN Celebrates Health Care Heroes at Annual Dinner
Hosts national health insurance company accountability expert
What: The Health Care Heroes Dinner is an annual MICHUHCAN tradition. Every June, MICHUHCAN’s members and friends come together to celebrate the contributions of some of Michigan’s most dedicated health advocates, reflect on the previous year and lay out the agenda for upcoming campaigns, and raise money to sustain operations. The Dinner is an excellent chance to learn about current health care issues in Michigan, meet other people who are interested in improving Michigan’s health, and to support an organization that works hard to make sure that health care is affordable, accessible, and high quality to all Michiganders. The keynote speaker this year is Wendell Potter, a nationally recognized speaker for insurance company accountability.
When: Friday, June 20th. Doors at 5:30, Event at 6pm.
Where: Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2080 W. Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI, 48208.
Who: All people who are interested in improving health care and learning about insurance company accountability.
